"Runner" starts working with free hosting

The company “Runner” has announced the admission to its advertising network of free hosting services. We are talking about media partnership, in which hosters will place on the sites of their users contextual advertising "Runner".

One of the company's first media partners was Ucoz.ru , which provides a site management system and a specific disk space for the needs of Internet users . Now among the conditions for free interaction with the service is the placement of the “mandatory” contextual advertising “Runner”.

According to the public offer Ucoz.ru, the hoster keeps track of the effectiveness of advertising on the pages of each site, after which the owner is charged a reward of 25% of his own net profit. The user can transfer the received funds to electronic payment systems or spend it on paid hosting services.

"Runner" reports that for two months of testing the broadcast of advertising rewards have been accrued to more than 9,700 sites hosted by Ucoz. In addition, as you know, some time ago, similar opportunities were provided to blog services and forums.

“Free hosting services provide services to tens of thousands of sites with a narrow thematic focus and accumulate a huge audience,” Begun expresses his interest in this kind of partnership. “The use of semantic and behavioral technologies makes it possible to isolate users from it who are interested in the products of Begun's clients.”

Ads on hosting service sites are broadcast as pop-up ad units. The placement is automatic, and the site owner is only required to agree to the terms of hosting.

Commenting on the new initiative, Aleksey Basov, the general director of Runner, said that the company had opened up the opportunity for the industry to capitalize the audience even in such traditionally non-commercial areas as free web services: “We are pleased to see that with our help new business models are being created , and their consumers are involved in advertising revenues of projects. We predict that the number of services that share contextual advertising revenues with their users will grow rapidly. ”
