Today I went to the subway and saw an agitation calling for a driver to get a stable job. I am now, in principle, unemployed, so the picture "how it would be," drew itself in my head. Surely, it's amazingly boring to look in a dull tunnel all day. And once again I thought that it would be possible to automate a lot of, in fact, time-consuming and boring professions. In this post I will post my top five and suggest that those who want to add their own options:
Engineers in the subway Yes, perhaps this is not a trivial task. But we are flying into space, is it really impossible for anyone to make a safe automatic system of movement in the subway?
Cashiers in supermarkets All they do is pierce the goods. Why not give buyers the opportunity to do this? After all, a cashier is not a guarantee that goods will not be stolen.
Cleaners hi wall-e.
Conductors in transport Make an automatic ticket spitter and increase ticketless travel fines.
Various kinds of aunties, checking and signing various pieces of paper Those. generally go to the automated workflow
As a separate item, I propose to reflect on why this or that proposed profession has not yet been automated. The reasons may be from technological (we can not) and economic (not profitable) to social and political ones (we must somehow control the “masses”).
