New version of LiveStreet 0.2
About two months have passed since the announcement of the release of LiveStreet - a free engine of a habr-like social network.
What was done during this time?
Firstly , a lot of work on bugs / bugs, by the way, which, like in any fresh product, were plenty. But thanks to the active promotion of the community formed around LiveStreet , a large number of bugs were identified and brutally suppressed =)
Secondly , a significant improvement in functionality. If earlier it was problematic to make a functional blog social service based on LiveStreet , now with the release of the new version it is quite possible. Again, most of the improvements were generated by active users of the engine.
It should be noted that during this time there were more than 2000 downloads of the engine distribution kit, not counting checkouts from the publicly available SVN repository.
So, what's new for us in LiveStreet 0.2:
What's next? We will continue to improve and develop the LiveStreet project together with you, and I hope it will turn out to bring it to a decent level. From the planned in the next version there will be a multilingual, full-text search on the Sphinx, a new design (layout), a new tagging mechanism with similar tagging function, a mechanism for updating comments without reloading the page.

PS I want to say a few words about the design. Many are confused by the current design, literally copying diz Habra. I repeat - this is a temporary measure. A competition was held for a new design, in which more than 20 works took part, the winner was chosen. Now there is a process of design study in more detail and the design of all pages of the engine. As it turned out, this process is not fast, rather even slow, and by version 0.2 it was simply not physically possible to have time to change it.
In this regard, I want to throw a cry to the makers. If you have a desire to help the project with the layout of the layout and the ability to do it efficiently - write.
