The company “Vebalta” officially opened the contextual advertising service
“Optimist” , the launch of which
was announced recently. The proposal is focused on small and medium businesses, prices for services are called democratic. The minimum bid per click - the transfer of a visitor from
Webalta.ru to the advertiser's site - is 1.5 rubles.
The mechanism for displaying contextual or intellectual advertising, as it is called in “Webalt”, is familiar: the user, in addition to the usual results, is shown advertisements that match his query by keywords.
The company believes that there are not enough contextual advertising services on the Russian Internet to provide an acceptable level of competition. In addition, according to the developers, Optimist takes into account the interests of advertisers, previously not accounted for in similar services.

According to Alexei Gureshov, the general director of the Webalta project, the optimization of the contextual advertising system Optimist is in its interface. “The interface is very easy to use,” says Alexey. - Analysis of statistics and work with ads on one screen. This is an advantage over the “Runner” and “Yandex” systems.
Alexey Gureshov noted several other differences: “At the moment in Optimist there is the cheapest price for contact, there is no subscription fee and no paid places for issuing.”
Targeting is also provided free of charge - the advertiser chooses the audience from which regions will see his ads. There are tools for selecting keywords and obtaining various statistics.
The company plans, taking into account the existing balance of power, to take up to 30% of the Russian contextual advertising market. This market of “Vebalta” itself estimates at $ 100 million - “and its growth exceeds all expectations”.
