Protection against automatic registrations

I hate when in the forms on the sites make all sorts of captchas. For those who do not know what the word captcha means:

CAPTCHA is an abbreviation of the English words “Completely Automatic Turing Test to distinguish between computers and people.

Ie, speaking in Russian, this is such a picture, which is written some rubbish of letters and numbers. I do not argue about the need to use this technology, this is not even a question. But the implementation of captcha on some sites sometimes just infuriates. I understand that the developers want some bot to not understand what is written in the picture and automatically submit the form, but why make such a captcha that a person cannot understand.

Another example, when there is a button under the picture, when clicked on, the text of the captcha is reproduced by voice, this is done for people with disabilities, and this service is quite common in the west. Only one thing is not clear to me why it was impossible to find a person with a normal voice, and not some degenerate with a bad voice, and the quality of the recording also leaves much to be desired.
