Vimeo.com has entered extended accounts

Good news (well, really, publish them with some delay :-)) from Vimeo!

I suppose that they are especially joyful for those users of third-party video hosting sites who are worried about the outflow of visitors from their sites through advertising links inside the player and its often poorly integrated design.

On October 16, 2008 (and without that wonderful) service Vimeo.com introduced support for premium premium accounts . Paid Vimeo Plus accounts differ from the usual ones:

• the ability to download 2GB video per week,
• an unlimited number of HD movies
• HD embedding capability
• higher quality video
• pretty flexible customizable player interface,
• lack of advertising ...

Issue price - $ 60 / year. At the moment, it is possible to pay only from American cards, the support of international cards promises to provide service in the near future.

You can set the visibility of text captions (the name of the user who posted the content, etc.) when an inserted video appears on your site:

You can also choose an arbitrary color of controls and customize the visibility of any of them, including the Vimeo logo.

And, of course, as always, you can set an arbitrary thumbnail for the video by downloading it or selecting it from the media library.
