In fact, I want to tell not about my business, but about my business, let's say, a friend. My friend is far from IT, but decided to make the process of doing business more convenient, using modern means of automation and control. It happened in the Siberian province in October of this year.
He decided to install a cash register, a barcode reader and a thermal printer based on a single system unit, and conduct all reporting with the means of “1C: Trade and Warehouse”.
The hardware part does not interest us, although there, too, was not without interesting things. I am writing to show how one of the most advanced developers "helps" the process of using and mastering their products.

Imagine that you are an entrepreneur far from the IT sphere and you decided to purchase a software product for your small business, as my friend did. He came to the office of the official distributor of 1C products in our city, consulted with experts, paid the n-th sum and got just such a beautiful box weighing ~ 3 kg:

I understand that all this can be useful for large enterprises where there is a separate specialist for 1C, but why put all this in the basic package? After all, the client pays for it. In addition, online help would be much more convenient (maybe she, of course, is, I do not know).
Next, the program itself:
I could not understand for what reason these days, at the current cost of more modern media, it is worth spreading such a program on two dozen 3.5 '' floppy disks. It is not very convenient to work with such a bunch of floppy disks, besides the media is unreliable.
Perhaps my criticism is unfounded and non-constructive, because I myself am far from accounting, but I am a developer, then I ask you to comment on this in the comments. In any case, I'm not trying to do anti-advertising, just a case in life, which personally surprised me.
