Java @ CERN

In the photo, Derek Mathayson at CERN receives a prize from James Gosling. Java is actively used by scientists as the main tool for working with the Large Hadron Colider . Their ATLAS system , in which the number of proton collisions reaches 600 per second, generating 15 petabytes of information is controlled using Java. Java is also used as the primary tool for monitoring all systems and 3D visualizations.
