Asustek will release an Android smartphone in the first floor. 2009

Asustek Computer plans to release a smartphone on the Android platform already in the first half of next year. According to the plans, the new devices will be sold first in the Taiwanese market under their own brand Asustek, and then they will be exported to third-party customers (and, possibly, under other brands).

So far, the company operates mainly in the domestic market: in the first nine months of this year in Taiwan, it sold 30,000 phones.

I must say that yesterday, Asustek started selling its first touchscreen smartphone, resembling the HTC Touch. The Asustek 3.5G P552w model with a proprietary 3D interface is shown in the photo.
