Translucency PNG in Microsoft Sites

Today, skimming through the bashorg during a working tea party, I came across a link from TechDays seminars. After a quick scan of the proposed materials, I focused on the top of the page, namely the image of a tambourine in the menu. Immediately a thought arose - are there any Microsoft sites that use semi-transparent PNG images? After all, it should be an anti-marketing move that will throw a stone in the garden of IE6.
