This is an FDM printer, which is included in the lower price segment. Its price does not exceed 25 thousand rubles.

Assembly

Anycubic i3 Mega is ready for printing after the minimum assembly - you just have to fix the frame on the base, and then connect them with wires.



The assembled design has high rigidity. The base and frame of the 3D printer are made of sheet metal. Due to the marking of wires, switching of all blocks takes a few minutes - it is impossible to make a mistake when connecting.



We recommend calibrating before the first print. This procedure is performed manually.

Special features

Special thanks to Anycubic engineers for the touchscreen display. It is located at a convenient angle and quickly responds to pressure.



Anycubic i3 Mega comes with a heated Ultrabase table developed by the manufacturer.



A 3D printer works great with common plastics - ABS, HIPS, but the table cover is also ideal for PLA printing.



The surface of Ultrabase is coated with a microporous material that holds the object securely during printing. At the end of the process, the table is cooled, the thermal expansion of the micropores is replaced by compression, and the finished printout is effortlessly removed from the surface.



The 3D printer is equipped with a mechanical sensor of the end of the filament - a useful feature for those who print a lot - this simple device allows reducing the number of scrap, as well as the function of restarting interrupted printing after a power failure.



Many Chinese 3D printers are shipped without thorough documentation. Anycubic i3 Mega is a nice exception. All materials for the printer - specifications, instructions for assembly and operation, the necessary software - can be found on a USB flash drive.
