By the nature of their activities, it is often necessary to “clean” the computers of users from all kinds of “infections”. There are plenty of tools and methods, but they are more and more often coping with living creatures that have been pumped up by curious users, but the antivirus tools running on an already infected computer have failed (for various reasons, the most trivial of which is the failure of Windows to boot into such a zoo of all kinds of little animals). I had to either scan the system using the next Live CD with Windows + independently integrate the updated databases into the image, or remove the hard disk and treat the consequences on another computer.
The company created a boot disk based on one of the Linux OS clones by integrating the antivirus scanner itself and several additional programs into the distribution. The solution is very interesting, however, it seems to me, it is not without flaws: I think it will not be easy to run on exotic hard disk controllers. Although time will tell. ')
