Moscow chooses "Stream" and services of local providers
J'son & Partners investigated in detail the Moscow market for “home” broadband access and witnessed the leadership of Stream (“MTU-Intel”) ADSL-provider in most of the territory of Moscow. The second key result is the confirmation of the thesis about the extremely high fragmentation of the home networking market. Provider "Komkor-TV", the only Moscow provider of Internet access via cable TV, with a relatively small amount of coverage, has managed to become a leader in most of the areas in which it operates. The provider has the first position in 8 districts of Moscow and in another 3 municipalities it is the second after Stream.

Centel is leading in 7 districts of the city and in 2 more it is the second, that is, like the cable provider Komkor-TV, it focuses on certain districts and occupies a large market share there.
The policy of "Corbina" is the opposite of "Katelovskaya". Researchers say the company operates in many areas, but only in three of them is the leader. But it has the second place after “Stream” immediately in 7 districts, and in 11 more “Corbina” in third place.
