Techday Make IT Real - December 17, Moscow

December 17 (Monday) we arrange TECHDAY MAKE IT REAL - especially for those who prefer to introduce their innovations to beautiful speeches about innovations.

Formally, techday will be divided into two parts: the main program and activities on thematic sites.

Main program



Here we organize two tracks for speakers, where experts will talk about the experience of implementing various solutions and their impact on business performance (What we do), as well as on the organization of work and ensuring continuous development (How we do). Technical Director Kirill Yermakov, Agile Coach Maxim Gaponov, Director of IT and Development Andrey Protopopov, Head of QIWI Blockchain Technologies Alexey Arkhipov and others will speak on these topics.





This will not be the “Speaker Speaking - Everyone Listens” format. Here anyone can voice their opinions on the topic of modern technologies and share stories on one of ten thematic hubs:

11:00 - 11:45 - What you did not know about QIWI (Kirill Ermakov / Technology)



For the last three years, Kirill has led the operation and safety of the QIWI group. In the past, an expert on web application security and developer of corporate data protection systems. Works with databases for 20 years, including 8 years in the technical support of Oracle. Improves system performance, reduces downtime, and helps developers understand database logic. Changes people and processes for the better.



13:05 - 13:20 - BigData - what is it for us and how we prepare it (Dmitry Zaitsev / Database Development)



Dmitry's work has always been associated with data: he has five years of administration and seven years of development in Oracle. For the last two years, QIWI has been developing storage on Vertica and Hadoop.



13:20 - 13:40 - ML & AI - from Excel to Neurons (Lydia Khramova / Business Modeling



He heads the group of business modeling. Long and sincerely loves analytics and machine learning, and for six years it is mutual. I am sure that to use data science in practice, you need not only complex neural networks, but also the ability to gracefully solve business problems, getting simple and useful conclusions.



13:40 - 13:55 - A bot to help you: we automate textual customer support (Nikolay Kartashov / Data Science)



Leads several data science projects, creating products that used to be very expensive or impossible to develop. Nicholas likes to solve complex and interesting tasks, which are always enough in his direction.

Senior Windows System Administrator. After working in information security and introducing antifraud-system in Svyaznoy, I found myself in a Windows infrastructure. I started from scratch and a year later I got into QIWI technical support. At this time, I got carried away with System Center Configuration Manager, and after a year and a half I moved to the Windows administrators division, where I still work in the position of SCCM Engineer.

For battles of opinions on the most controversial IT issues, a separate platform will be created - REAL TALK.



Thematic areas



They, like the tracks, will also be two. The first one is GIFTS & BAR. On it, the participants of MAKE IT REAL will receive gifts in exchange for bonuses earned for activity before or during the event. The second site is the “IT-apartment”, styled as an IT specialist’s workroom. In it you can relax, chat with friends and colleagues, and if necessary - to devote time to their own projects in between the visits to the hubs and speeches.
