Last updated 02/20/2019. List of changes.

All information security specialists sooner or later face issues of legislative regulation of their activities. The first problem with this is usually the search for documents where certain requirements are stated. This handbook is intended to help in this trouble and contains a selection of references to the main legislative and regulatory acts governing the use of information technology and information security in the Russian Federation.

Table of contents

Foreword

To facilitate the perception, the entire array of documents is divided into semantic blocks, which are used to regulate various areas of information security.
Unfortunately, most of the above documents are used to regulate several areas of law at once, therefore the proposed classification is very conditional. Documents in the directory are mentioned only once. This makes it a little harder to find, but significantly reduces the volume of the directory.
')
The proposed handbook is not exhaustive, but contains, perhaps, the main directions of information security in Russia.

In the directory, with rare exceptions, there are no references to documents of limited distribution, national standards and draft documents.

Most of the documents are presented in the form of links to the reference system “Consultant +”, while some documents will not be available for free viewing during working hours. For such documents, an alternative link available during working hours will be given next to the name in square brackets.

Submitted documents are relevant at the time of publication of this guide.
Happy viewing and successful work!
