The Pentagon and the US Department of Defense announced a tender for the development of a robotic search and track system for "non-cooperating people." A feature of the system should be its autonomy, as well as the simultaneous coordinated participation of many robots in it.
Apparently, the military believe that control of robots distracts people from more important tasks, and therefore everything must be automated.
As soon as the system starts to work flawlessly - it will become autonomous.
