Google has launched the
Android Market , which will sell applications for smartphones based on Google Android.

Access to the service for smartphone owners will be as easy as in the iPhone - access to the App Store: one click on a special icon on the desktop will be enough.
But unlike the App Store, where any program is checked by Apple before it is added to the store, the file-sharing processes in the Android Market are not controlled by Google.

Until the end of this year, all applications offered on the service will be free of charge, and in 2009 a paid section will appear.
Google app developers are encouraged to register on the Android Market and pay a $ 25 registration fee. After that, the developer can upload the applications created by him to the catalog without prior certification in Google.
By the way, Google does not intend to make money by selling applications through the Android Market, 70% of the sale of its applications will be received by developers, the remaining 30% will go to pay for the services of a telecommunications company and banking operations.
