Taming file sharing P2P networks. DC (Direct Connect). Part 2

Not much time has passed since the first publication of the MediaDC program on this site, but we can already say that the program is of interest.

In short, the program is a tool for viewing files (movies, music, pictures) using DC (Direct Connect) protocol.
Thus, it is possible, without downloading, to evaluate the content and avoid frustration from the lost time of downloading an interesting (in poor quality, etc) movie.

The program is designed to erase the line between local files and files available in DC, in the likeness of the usual (SMB, Netbios balls).
A more detailed description can be found in my first post Taming File-Sharing P2P Networks. DC (Direct Connect) .
')
The prototype of the program can be seen here. MediaDC Please consider that the program’s website, like the video shown on its pages, was originally designed for a specific local network, with its specific settings and audience, and it was not intended to go online.

Unfortunately, despite the interest in the idea and the final product, both of them risk being not fully realized. The reason is simple - the project is too large-scale for one developer, one person is simply not able to “raise” so much. By this, I appeal to habraobroshchestvennost, in order to find people interested in developing this program as a non-profit, opensource project. Ideas, suggestions and suggestions are also welcome.
The program is developed in C #, .Net Framework 2.0.

ps The source code of the program is not currently publicly available, but really interested people can get them. The code, like the prototype of the program, is far from ideal, but can be a base. The reason for this condition is simple - either I put up with some simplifications and stubs, or I write this project until old age.
