Multi touch support for Mac OS X

Mozilla blogs post an announcement about the release of Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 “pre” with support for the Multi-Touch feature, which is found on some MacBook OS X touchpads.

With the help of multitouch and some gestures, it is possible to control the browser and perform simple actions like “back”, “return to the top of the page”, “zoom”.

Support for the following macbook models is reported:
* MacBook Pro from this year (either early-2008 model or the new late-2008 ones)
* MacBook Air (both models from 2008)
* MacBook from late 2008 (the new new aluminum ones)
