Image optimization service for your site

It’s no secret that when creating web projects the most difficult content is often various images, icons and images. In this post I wanted to tell you about the service www.smushit.com , which allows you to optimize images on your site for maximum performance.
The service works through a plugin for firefox, which can be installed from the main page of the project. After that, an icon appears in the browser's status bar as in the picture:

Now, on any open resource, you can click on this icon to check as far as possible to optimize images:
As you can see, using the example, the service determined that it can save approximately 9 kilobytes or 3% of the total amount of pictures on the resource.
After verification, you can download the updated optimized images by reference (yellow square).
Very fast helpful and convenient service. Recommend.
