Hello from the
Toaster team! Today we are launching a long-awaited feature that will allow members of our community to collectively choose solutions among the answers. All the details under the cut.

The authors of the questions do not always mark solutions among all the answers received. Therefore, we decided to allow the community to independently choose the answers that solve the question posed by the author. From this day on, we are adding a custom answer vote. Those with more than 10
contributions will be able to vote for the answer and mark it as a decision.
If within a week the answer gets 3 or more votes, it becomes a solution. The author of such an answer gets 10 points of contribution (or 1 unit), as if the answer was chosen by the author of the question or the curator. In this case, the contribution can be obtained only once - or from the author, or from the community.

Voting lasts a week after the publication of the answer. You can change the opinion and withdraw your vote, but only until the end of the vote. If the vote has already ended, the button "Mark the decision" will be hidden.
Even if the author has already chosen the answer, you can still vote for him. The names of the voters will appear in the “Who chose by decision” list - you can call it in the answer menu.
We hope that this feature will allow you to quickly find the right solutions to all issues.
