Russian App Store and debit cards. What to do?
I tried to register in the Russian App Store with my card:
“Debit cards are not supported in the Russian Store.”
My classic visa didn't work. They say debit cards of some banks work.
I called the Apple service center, they could not justify the reason for the refusal and referred to the clause in the agreement that credit cards are accepted. And they refused to communicate with me until I told the serial number of any purchased product, my full name, the place where I bought it and how long I bought it. Even if iTunes is free to download. That is, until I buy something, they do not want to mess with me.

I called the day before yesterday (October 15) at my bank. The staff member said that they had begun an investigation into the legality of the refusal .
Gentlemen, let's unite! Check for the refusal of your card, and if they refuse, report it to your bank. The more messages from customers, the greater the chance that they will be pressed and will begin to accept debit cards.
Unfortunately, today I called back to find out about the state of the investigation and they told me that there was no open investigation and, when they re-explain the situation, they refuse to assist in any way. They told that retail outlets have the opportunity to find out through a bank servicing a retail outlet whether or not a debit card is available.
The Apple was not turned to face Russia, and it is unlikely to be something that I hasten to tell those who have not yet been convinced of this.
PS: The question is - if I buy an iPhone (I don’t have it and probably won’t), but I don’t have a credit card, the manufacturer of this device obliges and forces me to have a credit card to use the additional functionality of this device. Is this valid?
PSS: Debit cards are less often accepted in the US, but even they are accepted in the US app store.
