I missed that moment when page-by-page navigation from the view
[←] [2075] [2074] [2073] [2072] [2071] [→]
flowed into view
')
[←] [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [→]
The main drawback - the content of each of the specific pages is constantly changing. There are several unpleasant consequences of this:
1. If today I look through all the topics in a row (general list or some blog) in order to find something interesting, then tomorrow I will not be able to return to the page where I stopped.
I like to read not only the latest publications. I often rewind a few dozen or hundreds of pages “back” to read older topics.
2. Any links not to a specific topic, but to their list, after some time become irrelevant.
2.1. Sent by ICQ
2.2. Indexed by search engines.
Questions:
1. Are there pluses that outweigh the minuses?
2. Perhaps, I do not solve my tasks in the wrong way (viewing old topics and memorizing where I stopped)?
3. Is there any setting that allows you to customize the page display order?
PS there is not enough karma to post in “Ideas for Habr”.
PPS Thank you :) now enough
UPD: As
ur001 quite correctly
remarked , reverse page numbering does not eliminate the problem of constantly changing content on a particular page.
