
Yesterday, after a long period of silence, the iGoogle service was finally updated, now providing the user with deeper integration with services such as Google Reader, Gmail and Finance. Now these widgets can be expanded to full page, which is especially useful when using Gmail and Greader, which bring almost all of its functionality to the iGoogle page.
In addition, the standard page interface has been slightly updated, and many content producers have updated their widgets for use with the new UI.

There are some other, cosmetic, changes. So the tabs at the very top of the page (I haven’t yet seen such changes in the Russian version) were replaced with the navigation pillar on the left. This is especially useful when using a large number of widgets that make the
grid efficient.
