I'll start a little "from afar." The fact is that I (and I don’t think I’m alone) really like small but functional programs. I have met several such applications that you can’t name as anything other than softwork masterpieces. It is a pity that the list of these “nanotech” masterpieces is very rarely updated.
But today's reading of the news feed from the Russian life hacker brought a link to another such masterpiece.
This is a program with a very modest (albeit accurate) name of
everything and it is designed to quickly search a file and folders by name.

Firstly, this is the size (293 kB instaly in the current version).
Secondly - the speed of work. Creating an index on my computer took so much time that I didn’t even notice how it happened :) And the search happens completely instantly.
Thirdly, the low consumption of resources, most of the time the program sits quietly in memory and does not ask for anything, appearing only when you press a given shortcut key.
Fourth, support in finding real regexp-s, which makes it flexible and powerful.
Fifth, the presence of web and FTP-interfaces (I do not know where they put it in 200 KB, but they are :))
Sixth, frequent updates bringing new functionality.
And many many others…
Naturally, the case was not without flaws (although in my opinion this is exactly the case when they can rather be considered not bugs, but logical restrictions)
- The program does not search for the contents of files, although if this functionality is implemented, its gluttony will increase significantly
- The program works only with Windows OS and only with NTFS partitions (apparently, the speed is just caused by some kind of low-level focus).
If the above two minuses are not critical for you, then I recommend trying work with everything ...

PS By the way, I do not think that “I am smart” is the most suitable blog for this topic, but apparently I’m personally stupid. 10 minutes looking for the right, and did not find. If someone tells you, I will be very grateful :)
