A National Computer Incident Coordination Center (NCCI) has been created in Russia
By order of the Director of the Federal Security Service of Russia Alexander Bortnikov, the National Computer Incident Coordination Center was created, which will be headed by the director and head of the Center for Information and Special Communications Protection of the Federal Security Service of Russia. "The National Computer Incident Coordination Center (NCTC) is an integral part of the forces designed to detect, prevent, and deal with computer attacks and respond to computer incidents," the center says, posted on the official government information portal on Monday.
The document notes that the information-analytical, organizational and logistical support for NCCI is provided by the Center for Information Protection and Special Communications of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
"NKTSKI is headed by the NKTSKI director, who is the deputy head of the scientific and technical service - the head of the Center for Information Protection and Special Communications of the Federal Security Service of Russia," the order says. ')
NCCI, according to the order, has the right to send notifications and requests to the subjects of critical information infrastructure, as well as to other bodies and organizations, including foreign ones, on issues related to the detection, prevention and elimination of the effects of computer attacks, and response to computer incidents.
