Hello! We are talking about new products in the line of Sinterit 3D printers.
“Sinterit” updated its famous printer
Sinterit Lisa and released the next model,
Sinterit Lisa 2 Pro .
These are models of SLS printers printing with polymer powder, sintering its layers with a laser beam. Products turn out smooth, with a qualitative smooth surface and very strong, but there is more to come. Read about these and other features of SLS printing and Sinterit printers.

What's new in Sinterit Lisa
1. Increased print area along the Y axis.
2. Improved temperature control, heated platform and camera print.
')
In the picture below: on the left - steel provides better thermal insulation, simplifies maintenance and, thanks to better protection, prolongs the life of seals; on the right - notches (in the previous version there were small holes) give the pyrometers the possibility of more accurately determining the temperature.
3. Increased reliability.
Left: laser protection glass in an airtight frame, easy to install and replace. Right: new locking system reduces heat loss.
4. Simplified service.
Facilitated access to the heating elements. Glass protection laser is replaced without additional tools.
Left: The newly designed front panel makes it easy to clean under the building area and to assemble the printer during transport. 3D printed latches make assembly quick and intuitive. Right: the gap to brush off the spilled polymer simplifies printer maintenance.
5. External improvements.
- New lock and hinges for safer use
- The on / off button on the side is more convenient.
- More accessible location of the power connector.
- Screwing legs with rubber bands - from accidental movements.
In addition to the above, the overflow tray capacity is also increased by 10%.
general description
Sinterit Lisa is a 3D printer from the Polish company Sinterit, which prints three-dimensional parts using SLS technology. This means that objects are formed in it in layers, by sintering the polymer powder with a laser beam.
Since the support itself is the powder surrounding the forming model, there are no special supports and jumpers between the elements of the printed part.
Due to this, the shape of the parts can be anything, including parts one into another and mobile connections, and their number in the working chamber of the printer is limited only by the dimensions of this chamber.

Material savings
As a result of the screening, up to 70% of the powder remaining in the chamber after printing is available. The printer can use sifter powder mixed with new, in a proportion of up to 50%, while maintaining print quality. If the proportion of recycled material is exceeded, surface quality may decline.
A powder sifter, sandblasting machine and 6 kg powder containers are supplied separately and can be ordered with the printer.
Materials
PA materials are based on polyamide, a special case of which is widely known nylon. Flexa materials are based on thermoplastic polyurethane.
PA 11: the most common polymer for SLS, is distinguished by its small particle size, which gives surfaces a greater smoothness.
PA 12: ruggedized polyamide that can withstand loads up to 41 megapascals and a 13% elongation to break.
Flexa: a material of increased softness and elasticity. Read below for a description of an interesting example of its use.
The particle size of the powder, nanometers:
- PA11: 15-76, medium - 40
- PA12 Smooth: 20-100, medium - 38
- Flexa Black and Flexa Gray: 20-105
Case
An interesting example of the use of SLS 3D printing is the creation by Bambshell of the “Afrocentric Beauty” swimwear collection for the participants of the “Miss South Africa” contest.
The hostess of the company, Melinda Bam, who won this competition in 2011, and then entered the top ten Miss Universe finalists, thus decided to please her followers, and at the same time advertise her swimwear brand.
Each 3D-print, located on the swimsuits of the collection, reflects the influence of both traditional, ethnic and tribal, and modern motifs.
The volumetric elements are elegantly inscribed in the contours of swimsuits.
Flowers printed with Sinterit Lisa SLS technology from Flexa Black, based on thermoplastic polyurethane, are soft and comfortable to wear, have a smooth surface and do not cause irritation.
It is for these properties that this material was chosen.
