The developers of Mail.ru, it seems, were the first to implement a simple and very useful thing in RuNet - adding UGC to a regular
TV program . Now all users can rate or leave a comment for any program or movie. After all, when you put a DVR to record movies for the week ahead, it’s just that extra information about each movie is missing to decide whether to include it in the recording list or not.
If they had implemented the opportunity to “pull up” the IMDB ratings for each film, as well as information from other sources, into the TV program, it would be absolutely wonderful.

Watching the TV program, any user now immediately sees how the other viewers rated this or that program. Based on all opinions, a “Top gear” is formed - according to the number of points scored by the program or the comments left to it.

The TV program on Mail.Ru, which started in November 2001 as an independent project, in December 2005 became part of Afishi@Mail.Ru. The program covers several dozen meter, decimeter, regional and satellite channels. All TV shows are sorted into categories - "Movies", "Series", "Sport" and others. Authorized users can customize the TV program at their discretion - by specifying, for example, which channels they are interested in or which categories of programs they would like to highlight when viewing the broadcasting grid.
