"Sberbank" presented a virtual woman and a contactless beer tap

Sberbank introduced several innovative robotic systems that may be widely used in the future.

The first one is Nika's robot , created at the Sberbank robotics center. Reportedly, this is the "avatar for artificial intelligence of the bank." Nika will be able to communicate with a person in a natural language: “Behind this robot is one of the most powerful conversational agents - iPavlov. We are actively developing this project, but in our laboratory of robotics we are preparing for it a physical embodiment - an avatar that will be a reliable friend and assistant of man, ”Albert Efimov, director of the center of robotics, told RIA Novosti.

In addition to this avatar, the robotics laboratory explores other technologies, such as industrial robotics, logistics robots, unmanned vehicles, industrial exoskeletons, and personal service robot assistants.

The artificial intelligence system iPavlov is developed in partnership with MIPT at the expense of the state. Until 2020, developers should receive 350.3 million subsidies from the federal budget through the National Technology Initiative.

Robots are not the only technological innovations promoted by the largest Russian bank. A few days ago, with the help of Sberbank, the work of a non-contact beer tap was organized. Such devices can be installed in bars, on the streets, stadiums, etc. To get a drink, just press a button on the screen with a choice of volume - and bring a contactless payment card, phone or clock to the device.


The first crane was put in the Moscow bar Sean O'Neill's Irish Pub, and there it is already popular. According to the owners of the establishment, every evening up to three dozen visitors prefer to fill a glass in this system, and not at a live bartender.
