Introduction:About 4 months ago I was beaten by not particularly pleasant news: the audio output jack in the laptop broke. Presumably the soldering from the motherboard fell off. There was a similar problem on an old laptop with a charging connector. I bought myself a Creative Audigy 2 ZS Notebook sound card.
A couple of weeks ago, the Esc, F1 and F2 buttons of the Claudia failed. In principle, it is possible to work without them, but it is inconvenient.
I climbed the sites. In Russia, the keyboard for my laptop could be bought for 4500r. And then for 20 euros. (~ 700r)
It so happened that Toshiba laptops have 2 years of international warranty. “And what the hell is not joking,” I thought, deciding not to buy a keyboard, but to give a beech to a service center anticipating a couple of months of anxious expectations, all sorts of phrases from employees of the service center (hereinafter SC) like: “where is the packaging? - we will not take it! ”,“ There is a scratch, not a presentation — we will not take it! ”,“ Why without a check and a warranty card ??? - do not take !!!! "
Main part:Having prepared to fight to the victorious, I went with a laptop in my bag, without guarantees, checks, packaging and other things in the Toshiba SC. There was only a laptop. And a sticker with the serial number of the product on it.
')
The young man spoke English. The beech was literally snatched from my hands with a cry “To his intensive care unit, urgently! Sister, anesthesia !!! ”
With me, smiling, they took contact information, issued a ticket and carried it out to the door, saying “they will call you” ...
I stood on the porch of the SC, smiling stupidly and looking at the clouds, with a piece of paper clutched in my fist. Awareness of what happened did not come immediately. They took me a beech even without charging, without packaging, just a laptop!
After 3 days, the bell rang. I was informed that the patient is alive and well, which is what he wants me, and if I am at home tomorrow, they will bring me a laptop to my house ... For free ...
Surprised?
I changed the motherboard and keyboard. Moreover, the keyboard was installed with the Russian layout (!!!!), although in the rules for warranty repair Toshiba says that the keyboard is set to choose either the country where the repair is being made (ie German), or English.
So, what we have:4 days, full restoration + home delivery.
Everything is absolutely free.
Full customer satisfaction without creating him hemorrhoids.
Compare with Russian warranty repairs ;-)
Let me just say that I guess and know:
It would take about two months, for the only SC in the immense Motherland is only inside the Moscow Ring Road.
A couple of people gave friends. The starting point of departure is Samara. First, on the courage about picking bags for discs and boxes, then 2 months of diagnosis in the Moscow Ring Road, then a refund.
The well-known phrase reads: “The work is worth, but the deadline is coming.” In our case, this is bad.
How much effort, nerves and time will be lost, as well as working man hours for 3 months?
Thank you,
Toshiba for the warranty! Thank you
U + P Systemhaus GmbH for the services provided and the human attitude towards the client.
And what stories about this can you tell?
