From October 1 to December 15, the Enthusiast Internet Award 2008, an annual open competition among the best “non-professional” web-projects, will take place on Runet.
Gameland and
the MSN Russia portal are responsible for organizing and conducting this “event
” .
The task of the competition is to collect the strongest creators of the most striking web-projects. Only enthusiasts are allowed to participate, i.e. site creators are not to order, but for themselves. Of course, the project must comply with the stated competitive theme. These are digital technologies, sports, cinema, motor, audio, photo, video, design, fashion and business. Registration is free. And for the victory just pay a little. The organizers announced a prize fund of $ 50,000. At first glance, the figure is quite large, but it will disperse to no less than a dozen winners, so that all fifty thousand promoters will not break off.
The winners of the Enthusiast Internet Award 2008 will be selected in two stages. The first is a nationwide online voting, after which a short list will be formed. At the second stage, the selection of the winners will be answered by a specially selected, as the organizers say, competent jury.
