The domain owner specifies his contact information: postal address, phone numbers, website addresses, electronic mailboxes, etc., as well as additional information about the type of activity. However, he can choose the data that will be publicly available. For example, publish only the phone number or mailbox address. All information provided is stored directly on the DNS servers. And when accessing a domain, it is displayed in the standard interface for the entire zone. This approach, among other things, is quite interesting because the domain name owner does not need to worry about anything: neither about the DNS servers, nor about the hosting, nor about the design and support of the site. All that is required of him - to register a domain and provide your contact information.
Sunrise registration will be carried out during the first two months. In the course of it, trademark owners will be able to obtain the corresponding domains (the price is about 10 thousand rubles for 3 years). Then the Landrush period begins, which will last until March 23, 2009. During it, it will be possible to register any names, but their cost will remain very high (approximately 9 thousand rubles over 3 years). After that, anyone can get domains at a regular price (about 600 rubles per year).
