Alexey Zinoviev about BigData + ML on jug.msk.ru
On July 12, 2018, a meeting of the Moscow community of Java developers jug.msk.ru was held in the office of the CROC company, where Alexey Zinoviev was a speaker. The topics of the meeting were Big Data and machine learning .
Alexey’s interests include Big Data and machine learning ( ML ). Conducts trainings and makes reports about Apache Spark and Apache Ignite . Apache Ignite is an active contributor.
He takes part as a speaker at conferences held by the JUG.ru Group , as well as at others. The reports are really diverse in topics, original, not only in content, but even in names.

Opening meeting Andrei Kogun represents the speaker and recalls the upcoming conferences that will be held in St. Petersburg: TechTrain 2018 (September 1-2) and Joker 2018 (October 19-20).
The first part of the meeting before the break was devoted to Apache Spark , the examples shown are written in Scala . The data on the Titanic was used as a data set. Narrated - enhanced and improved version of the report from JPoint 2018 .
The second part demonstrated Apache Ignite capabilities on the same dataset. The demonstration examples are written in Java . Considering the authorship of Alexei in a significant part of Apache Ignite ML , his comments, comments and answers to questions were especially valuable.
Surprisingly prepared audience at the last meeting - a significant part of the audience uses Apache Ignite . Questions and answers to them were interesting both to the speaker and to other listeners.
