Adsense Audio launch is near

In January 2006, Google acquired DMarc Broadcasting, which is programming radio advertising campaigns. It was an unexpected deal, but its meaning was absolutely clear: the Internet advertising giant decided to expand its sphere of influence and enter the radio advertising market. Since then, for more than six months there has been no news on this subject, right up to today.



A techtoolblog blog recently reported that Google is conducting a survey among some users of the Adsense system. The topic of the survey is radio advertising. There are screenshots of relevant pages on Google. Obviously, this fact can serve as good evidence that radio advertising from Google has become a little closer (the last Google survey was devoted to print advertising and was conducted two weeks before Google advertised in print media). In addition, we have a chance to learn some details about radio advertising.



The screenshot of the first page contains a detailed description of the new service, which “will connect advertisers directly to radio stations through an automated process”. The technology will simplify the process of selling and planning radio advertising, to make it easier to track advertising costs. And another interesting point: the system will allow advertisers to establish a direct connection with the "creative talents" who are directly involved in the production of advertising. What this means is unclear. Perhaps the customer will be able to specify the parameters of radio advertising through a computer interface, for example, to select the voice of the announcer.



The second screenshot contains a series of questions about how much the advertiser would be interested in the new service if it were provided by a) a group of radio stations; b) Google; c) Yahoo; d) MSN.

On the last page , potential advertisers are asked which payment model is most convenient for them, and also how important the following parameters are for the system: ease of choice of radio stations, ease of creating advertisements, high ROI, ability to track advertising effectiveness.



From other sources , additional details became known about the Google Adsense Audio system. You can register in it and submit your ad to the airwaves even with a very modest advertising budget of $ 200. At the same time geotargeting functions will be available, and the ad itself can be broadcast on the radio, IPTV and through podcasts.
