The behavior of the windows when you click the mouse.

To begin with, this is not a topic-solution. This is a topic question. The question is specific and requires a certain understanding of the essence. Let's start.

Thanks to composite window managers (in particular, Compiz), I was finally able to break the habit of maximizing windows to full screen (if this is, of course, not some VIM). Now if I have scattered windows on the desktop, then I use the Scale plugin (similar to Mac OS Expo) when switching between windows. He refused windows headers - their role is played by a thin border around the perimeter of the window and a shadow. The left hand is on the keyboard, the right hand is on the mouse. Everything is fast and convenient. I still have enough thoughts for the development of the Scale plug-in, but so far they haven't really formed into words :)

But one problem has already been noticed. Of course, it's a good idea to use the Scale plugin, but sometimes you just need to poke it in the window next to it. But, if you just poke it like that, you can get to the GUI element, which will immediately react to the click. Now the question is: can X or Compiz be configured so that the GUI elements of the window do not respond to the mouse until the window becomes active? Simply put - the first mouse click anywhere on the window makes it (window) active.
