At the CEATEC exhibition now taking place in Japan, Panasonic presented a hefty, lifewall, interactive TV capable of recognizing the movements and faces of people.
This piece, showing video, is able to adjust the size of the image depending on the distance at which the person is located. In addition, the image can be moved after the person. Panasonic called this technology Stay-With-Me-TV. Lifewall also has IP cameras that allow for videophone conferences. The display (it’s even strange to call the whole wall just a “display”, but it’s so) allows you to work with a photo: simple rotations, resizing, zoom, etc. All this is possible only with the help of gestures. Without touching the screen.
While demonstrating the novelty, the representative of Panasonic noted that, despite the simplicity of the interface (it was called Easy-Gesture-TV), it takes some time to adapt to it. And strong arm muscles. And you don’t "wear a lot". ')
In addition, Lifewall can serve as a decorative element. Yet he occupies the whole wall. So in the “wallpaper” mode, this should also look great.
Panasonic Lifewall - so far only a prototype. The manufacturer claims that the commercial realization of the product will be possible only in 5-10 years. Such a thing will cost, apparently, crazy money.
