Museum sites

There was a desire to make a museum sites. Museum fund - screenshots in PNG format.

The main gallery, sorted by year and type of site (social network, search engine, utility (like tinyurl), media hosting), does not get all sites in a row, but:

1) Having a significant cultural value that influenced society or became a prototype for many other similar sites.
2) Typical examples of web design of this era.

For each screenshot - a description that allows descendants to plunge into that era . After all, this is now the form of Habrakhabr is familiar to us, and after 10 years it will be a museum specimen.

This is exactly what the museum will be different from the simple webarchive.org (from which, for example, it is impossible to view the kind of vkontakte.ru and yandex.ru that are completely historical.).

Separately from the main collection fund, there is a gallery of defaces and a gallery of browsers of different years.

Unfortunately, so far there are few ideas on screwing in web-design - the possibility of sending your own screenshots is obviously not enough.





I myself have not been engaged in coding for a long time, and I have never succeeded in doing this well. So, we need a second person in the project:

- from me: domain + hosting, site content, English version
- from you: coding in your favorite web development language and furious interest in the project :)
