At the Flash On The Beach (FOTB) conference, developers from Adobe for the first time officially
confirmed information about the existence of the Flash Player version for the Apple iPhone platform. Apparently, at the moment the program is ready and is being tested at Adobe, but they are waiting for permission from Apple.
Adobe lead programmer
Paul Betlem said that his team was involved in the development, and noted that “the iPhone is a closed platform.” In other words, the final decision depends entirely on Apple. Paul Betlem made it clear that if Apple gives the go-ahead, the final release of Flash Player will be released in a very short time (almost the same day).
As you know, Apple completely controls the market for independent developers for the iPhone and can easily
remove any program
from the App Store . At the same time, analysts say that Apple may have
many reasons to ban the spread of Flash.
