One of the developers of Motorola announced a significant expansion of the department, which is engaged in development under the Android platform. Now it employs 50 people, but the other day the management decided to increase the staff immediately by seven times. An indication has already been received by the Motorola personnel department.

As it became known, representatives of Nokia and Verizon attended the Android developer conference, which took place last week. Both of these companies are not members of the Open Handset Alliance, but the standard requirement for admission of a developer to participate in the conference is to have its own Android application.
