The crime prevention system showed 80% accuracy

The US Department of National Security began testing a unique AI system that in the future will be able to completely destroy crime as a phenomenon. If the tests are completed successfully, the criminals will be recognized before they commit the criminal act - in fact, as soon as a deceitful plan is ripe in the person’s head. The system works almost like it was shown in the movie “Opinion” in the book by Philip Dick (only now it actually happens).

Innovative development is called Future Attribute Screening Technologies (FAST). It is a set of sensors that remotely remove information about a person: body temperature, pulse and respiration rate, blood pressure. Additional modules analyze facial expressions and take readings from the eyes with laser radars, which is also used as information in the AI ​​neural network.



This system has been tested for a year, before it appeared under the name Project Hostile Intent.

According to the developers, during the testing of the system on 140 volunteers, the system showed 78% accuracy on the definition of malicious intentions and 80% as a lie detector. Independent experts just shrug their shoulders and admit that these are incredibly high rates (the key word is incredible).
