Ford said "do the advertising yourself"

Another great work in its portfolio recorded advertising agency "Humanity". On Thursday, the most expensive time on the NBC channel was given to the video filmed by two amateurs - Zack Resnikoff and Sonny Calderon. A moment before the premiere of the series “Knight of the Roads” (Knight Rider) was taken up by the Ford Mustang ad, which became the first of a whole series of future amateur videos dedicated to the famous automotive brand.

Ford decided to carry out an advertising campaign involving the creative forces of the “crowd” together with its regular partners from the agency Team Detroit. To this end , the Mustang Stories contest was opened on the Filmaka website, where works were submitted that presented the Mustang brand as an asset to America and an important part of its culture. The first winner of Resnikov and Calderon, in which the grumbling grandfather, the owner of the posh Mustang, made a funny joke on his grandson, can already be seen on the special promotional page Ford.

The incentive for amateur authors, in addition to nationwide fame, is the opportunity to win a new Ford Mustang 2010, which will be shown to the public in 50 days.

The Filmaka site, which for 5 months since its opening received the clients of such “fat” advertisers from the automotive industry, considers itself a creative studio. Its creators - producer and Oscar-winning nominee Deepak Nayar and former Fox Television head Sandy Grushow - decided to seriously engage in mediation between big brands, which for many years have already picked up all the ideas for promotion, and
thousands of talented authors on the web, whose collaborative work has repeatedly proved its effectiveness.
