Esquire E-Ink opened (rude: with fire and knives)

It is said that when Esquire with an E-Ink cover appeared on the newspaper shelves in the US, they began to sweep it spontaneously. Using standard methods, everyone came to the conclusion that hacking the paper in a reasonable way would not work, and then the Phone Losers group decided to approach the problem more aggressively.

As it turned out, E-Ink is surprisingly enduring and continues to work after cuts, water, fire and a drill. The only possibility of unconditional death is a couple of seconds of frying in the microwave. This is all because the metal components of the e-paper (power connectors, mostly) evaporated in gorgeous lightning.
