Deleted files on the desktop

Recently, services like Google docs, ideas about remote desktops, when files are stored on the Internet, and Internet counterparts are used instead of dextup applications, appear. This practice is implemented in Google Android.
Giving another idea for the concept of a remote desktop.
So, there is a regular program with an interface like “notepad”, and text (almost) files with the extension * .etxt.
The files are opened by this program, the user edits the text as usual, but the data itself is stored on the Internet. Thus, they are a global label.
Everyone faced with when the user dropped on a diskette (flash drive) a label on the document instead of the document itself? Such shortcuts should work!
I will give an example and the program itself.

How does it work in practice? The user writes the text (for example, an approximate task or report variant), and transfers it (for example, using a flash drive) to another. The second user sees the shortcomings in the text. The first one fixes its own version, bam - the text of the second user is fixed.
The advantage of such a system is that no one will have to learn unusual web applications. There are no more people who use Yandex instead of the address bar, and they are looking for a Rambler in the same place.
For example, I wrote such a program. For formality, I called it "etxt reader".
If interested, you can still download the program itself . Sources and examples of e-text files are also available. Attention! The contents of the two files from the archive of examples can be changed by anyone who downloaded the program. I am not responsible for what they write there.
Yes, and more. This is a common example, written “on the knees” in an hour. Associate the * .etxt files with the program if the installer does not do it himself.
UpD: to create your own file, just rename an empty .txt file to another, with the extension * .etxt.
If laziness, in the archive there are empty files.
