Ie will offer to send to the mail, which is associated with the login that you recently entered.

If you did not enter, you will be prompted to enter a login. (Or mail)

The moral is to look for someone to type in a login, and if after that he clicks on the link - “forgot the password” send the password (or link to generate) to the mail and not force him to type the same login again.
Another reminder to developers how to work. It would be nice if the developers take such trifles into service. All the same, we make websites for ourselves.
