A warning about the appearance of scammers came from the organization IEDR - the national registry of the domain zone of Ireland IE. The scheme used by fraudsters to deceive people is extremely simple. The attackers, on behalf of Internet Register Ireland, are sending organizations, by fax and mail, an offer to register a domain in IE zone for just ... 958 euros. Needless to say, people who have bought this letter get nothing. And this is not surprising. A registrar with this name does not exist.

It is clear that the scheme of fraud is very simple, so only a completely inexperienced person can get caught up. But, apparently, it works well, because in different countries it has been used more than once. Therefore, if you are going to buy a domain for yourself, do not rely only on yourself, contact a specialist. Or at least do it with large, well-established registrars.
