For informational support and marketing purposes, the domain is Chicago2016.org. It is with his help that the organizers intend to “promote” the city and increase its chances of winning. They wanted to use the domain Schisago2016.com, but it turned out that he was already busy. Back in 2004, he was registered by an American student, Stefan Frain.
Both sides have arguments in their side. Stefan Frain says that he registered the domain before the promotion of Chicago, and therefore it cannot be blamed for cybersquatting. In addition, he claims that he is not going to extract any profit from this domain name - he plans to open a forum on it, in which Chicagoans can leave wishes and comments to their beloved city.
