While there are stormy discussions of full-frame cameras from leading brands, Leica quietly introduced a reflex camera with a CCD (!) Matrix for 56% more of the full format, that is, 30 x 45 mm and a resolution of 37.5 megapixels, and announced a line of lenses to it. The new Maestro image processing system delivers double the speed of medium format digital backs and low power consumption.

From myself I would like to mention the approach that was used by engineers in the development of this camera. They actually built a camera around the new sensor. What can I say, I will quote it better: “I’ve got to know how to use it.”
