Shuttle D10 with touch screen

The Shuttle D10 mini-computer is generally an ordinary product, somewhat similar to all previous Shuttle “boxes”. True, with one significant difference. On board, the D10 has a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, which can operate both in independent mode and synchronously with an external monitor.

For the rest, this is a barebone mini-PC: case with a 100 W power supply, Intel G31 / ICH7 motherboard with integrated Intel GMA 3100 video, five-channel audio, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and FireWire, support for Intel processor series Core 2 Duo E4000, Pentium Dual-Core E2000 and Celeron 400 and RAM up to 4 GB. This means that to build a full-fledged computer, the user will need to buy almost all the stuffing: the processor, memory and hard drive.

The device will be on sale within a week. Initially will only be available in Japan. By the way, a kit with a Celeron 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and an 80-gigabyte HDD will cost about $ 650. When the novelty appears in the stores all over the world is not yet known.
