Not so long ago I had the opportunity to visit another nightclub.
Located in St. Petersburg, in the metro area "Sport."
The club is equipped inside the former air-raid shelter and the outside is an earthen mound towering in the middle of the courtyard.
Inside, everything is as usual, dirty, loud, stuffy and cramped.
But not the point. The fact is that, having crowded a little at the bar, I realized what a “former bomb shelter” is.
This means that about 65 years ago there, in the middle of the besieged half-ruined city, hungry, often wounded and sick people hid.
That is, they lived and died in this room, trying to hide from the bombing.
The cultural phenomenon I saw here is the following: somewhere huge sculptures are erected to honor the honor of fallen ancestors.
Flowers are brought to their feet, and various ceremonial events take place next to them.
And places like this bomb shelter are desecrated and forgotten, although they are of immensely greater spiritual and historical value than artificial memorials.
The club was suddenly abandoned.
Moral and spiritual tenets are once again questioned.
