But starting to write this post, I wanted to talk about something completely different, and not to prove that Twitter is a very cool service.
In Twitter, you can write directly from the address bar - an example . The idea is to use special icons in the messages. For example: âI'm going to â in ââ
This idea was thrown by the author of the blog thenextweb.org . But how to remember such a number of characters? For this, Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten made a special bookmarklet. It is enough to transfer it to the âbookmarks barâ, each time you click on it, the page with all the icons that can be inserted into Twitter will fly out.
What did this idea give the author? After a few hours, four Twitterers with lots of friends (a total of 95,075 followers in total) were told about Twitterkeys. And what was the result? About 15,000 unique visitors to the original post within 24 hours. Plus 60+ diggs , 360+ mentions on blogs .
